CI-HOP House of Prayer

Vision Statement:

TO BE AND TO BUILD A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL NATIONS IN THE SPIRIT OF THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID

To Be and To Build…

1 Peter 2:5 says: “You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” To be a house of prayer individually (me, myself and I) is the first step in building a house of prayer corporately.

As we develop, individually, our worship/prayer lives and intentionally choose a lifestyle in which living the first commandment is what drives our decisions, our finances, our schedules, our choices, God will set us in place in the house He intends to build.

Here at CI HOP we are committed to pressing into the first commandment with one another to allow God to build something beyond ourselves that will bring Him glory. Do you want to be a house of prayer? Do you want to join with others intent on being a house of prayer?

A House of Prayer for All Nations…

“I will declare the decree; the Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You, ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.’”

At CI HOP we believe that Jesus longs for His inheritance and our desire is to stand with Him and intercede for Him to receive it. We intentionally intercede for the nations, every week, using the Operation World book. Our goal is to pray for every nation, at least once a year, by name. Does your heart burn for the nations, the people groups, the tribes of the world yet to know Jesus?

In the Spirit of the Tabernacle of David…

Amos 9:11 says: “On that day, I will raise up the Tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, and repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins and rebuild it as in the days of old; that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” says the Lord who does this thing.

James quotes this verse in Acts 15:16 saying: After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; so that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord who does all these things. We believe that we are in “that day” and God is indeed raising up David’s fallen tent.

He is raising up a world-wide prayer movement that is also a worship movement and a prophetic movement. King David set up a tent and saw to it that worship and intercession was going on before the Lord night and day. He had singers, musicians and priests scheduled around the clock to offer worship to the Lord. He wrote many psalms from inside this tent as he poured his heart out to God and waited on Him.

To be in the Spirit of the Tabernacle of David is to worship God in spirit and in truth…with your heart set on THE TRUTH – JESUS. It is not so much a location as a posture – to be in a mode of worship or with a heart full of praise and focus on God as we intercede. It’s to be linked to God like King David was: heart to heart; to be a wholehearted lover of God.

Someday, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We are confident of this and our prayers are full of the confidence in who God is as we intercede in these desperate times. The Spirit of the tabernacle of David is intercession out of a posture of worship and adoration before the Lord.
